Just a normal guy,
giving it a go.

I run Fat Cow Skincare out of a corner of Northumberland — a tallow-based brand built on grass-fed British beef and the slightly contrarian belief that animal fats are, in fact, a good thing.

Most weeks you'll find me at a farmers' market, in a kitchen rendering tallow, or behind a microphone for the Definitely Not Vegan podcast — having long, occasionally heated conversations with farmers, founders, and people who think seed oils are a personal attack.

I'm not a doctor. I'm not a guru. I'm just a guy who got really into cows and decided to make a business out of it. (It's going alright.)

Four things I won't shut up about.

→ 01 / Business

Building stuff that actually makes money

Founder-led brands with real margins, real customers, and a story you don't have to dress up. Operator first, marketer second, LinkedIn thought-leader never.

→ 02 / Health

Eating like your great-grandma did

Animal-based food. Sunlight. Sleep. The radical idea that a cow you can name might be better for you than a powder you can't pronounce.

→ 03 / Farming

British farms — the good ones

I buy from people I've stood in a yard with. Traceable beef, abattoir visits, supply chains short enough to walk down. No mystery meat. No mystery anything.

→ 04 / Talking

Long chats with interesting people

Mostly farmers, founders and friendly contrarians. I press record, ask questions, and try not to interrupt. (I sometimes interrupt.)

Where the real work happens.

Say hi.
Or don't.
Up to you.

For partnerships, podcast guests, retailer enquiries, or just to tell me you tried tallow and you're a convert — the door's open.
